Karelisa Hartigan and Lewis Sussman retired in June 2008. The Department of Classics organized a retirement party to thank both Professors for their dedicated service to the Department and the University of Florida. Both professors are planning to stay close to the UF academic community as Emeriti.

Classics welcomes Dr. Andy Nichols as Visiting Lecturer

Dr. Andy Nichols will be joining the Department of Classics this year as a Visiting Lecturer. Dr Nichols holds a PhD from the University of Florida, and an MA from Florida State University.
